1. Well-Known Community(No-Advertise) Sample Configuration 구성도

• 테스트 장비
  • 에뮬레이터 : EVE-NG
  • 라우터 : Nokia 7750 SR-12 TiMOS-C-21.10.R1
• Well-Known Community 중 하나인 ‘no-advertise’는 모든 BGP Peer에 Prefix를 광고하지 못하도록 지시
• R1은 1.1.1.1/32 Prefix에 ‘no-advertise’ Community를 추가하여 R2로 Update Message를 전송

 

 

2. Well-Known(No-Advertise) Community Sample Configuration

1) BGP Basic Configuration

• 다른 BGP 라우터도 BGP Neighbor를 맺기 위하여 위 설정과 비슷하게 설정

 

2) Community Configuration

• ‘no-advertise’라는 키워드가 없으므로 ‘65535:65282’을 입력

 

• R1은 1.1.1.1/32 Prefix에 ‘no-advertise’라는 Community Attribute를 추가하여 광고

 

• R1→R2 Update Message 전송 시, 'no-advertise'라는 Community Tag를 추가하여 전송

 

• R2는 R1에서 1.1.1.1/32 Prefix에 해당하는 Update Message를 수신할 때 Well-Known Community인 'no-advertise'를 수신
• 1.1.1.1/32 Prefix가 ‘no-advertise’라는 Community로 Tag가 지정되어 있음을 확인
• ‘no-advertise’는 BGP Peer로 Update Message를 전송하지 않으므로 R2에서 R3 및 R4로 1.1.1.1/32라는 NLRI 정보를 가진 Update Message를 미전송
• 'show rotuer bgp routes community <community value>' 명령어로도 확인 가능

 

• R2→R3 및 R2→R4로 1.1.1.1/32 Prefix에 대한 Update Message 미전송
